Wideboys have exclusively released the music video for their new song “The Word” to few people so I figured why not let you guys see it as well.  They consist of Eddie Craig & Jim Sullivan who hail from the UK and have been DJing for quite sometime now.  This track has a sound to it that reminds me of Daft Punk, and when a song reminds you of Daft Punk then you know it is something special.  This is an amazingly composed song, it has a great pulsing dance feel to it with fantastic guitar riffs to it that give this song mass appeal.  I expect the Wideboys to become massive after this song.  You heard it first right here on Crossfaded Music!  And don’t freak out, don’t freak out I say, but I have the download for this song and it hasn’t been released yet.  Check their Soundcloud out for more tunes.

There are plenty of remixes of this song already which is more fuel to my argument of how big this song is going to be. I went through them all and chose my favorite which is a sick drum and bass remix by Koncept.  Just listen a let the music take you away.

Flight Facilities are a unique group all the way from Trinidad & Tobago and I must say I am in love with their Nu Disco and Indie Dance music they put out.  They have been slowly climbing the beatport charts for some time now and I figured it is time to post about them.  Their somewhat new song “With You” is just a fantastic song.  It is a real chill song that can be played in several different venues, for instance the bedroom is a perfect place to start, but you could very well play this at a party and people could still dance to it in a very hipster manor.  The groove is very catchy and stays with you while the lyrics just make the song ever so sexual.  The video is just as sick, great animation and a nice story compliment the song perfectly.  I look forward to what these guys have to offer in the future.

With the help of Gary Go, it appears we have a sequel to the famed track Cinema that hit the charts last year, right about this time. Control is no different; very vocal driven. I just found this new Paper Diamond song called “Turn The Lights Off” last night and I haven’t stopped listening to it.  Paper Diamond has been on top of my list when it comes to electronic since they first started coming out with music.  They are Colorado natives so I have to spread the Colorado love.  There is a great pulsing dance beat to this song and builds fantastically to the drop and leads into a great chorus.  This song comes from Paper Diamonds new EP titled Wavesight and I must say I love every song. We featured them in a previous post and here is the link to that.

Chiddy bang coming through with another smash hit. Off the duo’s debut album, Breakfast is the soulful homage to the great Ray Charles. Chiddy was quoted saying, “The song actually started out as a joke when my brother, Cheeseburger Don, got so high he fell asleep in the studio with his sunglasses on,” says Chiddy. “I looked over and he reminded me of Ray Charles, probably because I was high, too. I started freestyling about him and we laid it down right there.”

As a bonus I am going to give you the moombahton remix of the same song. It is really laid back and has crowd pleaser written all over it. It is a little faster paced, but with a chill moombahton melody. Put this one on your summer playlist for sure.
