Selva Oscura hailing from Austin, Texas and produces some of the chillest beats I have heard in recent history. Mixing soft electronic pops with some smooth vocals, he creates a great summertime song. I would call him a diamond in the rough. Robotic Pirate Monkey blows my mind again with the track Hellevator. Being no stranger to crossfaded Robotic pirate Monkey’s little gem should not go unnoticed. Blending and mixing heavy bass with some electronic dubstep creates such an epic banger. With a very fast paced complexity this song is so great despite the fact it is just under three minutes. Fantastic work, and I cannot wait for more.

Com Truise is an Electronic musician from the East coast of the United States. His 80s style grooves are some of the best out there and he certainly surpasses his competition in complexity and originality. Averaging well over 100 shows per year, ‘Foreign Beggars’ are one of the most prolific and versatile Hip Hop outfits to emerge from the UK. Consisting of MC’s Metropolis and Orifice Vulgatron, Producer Dag Nabbit, Human Beat boxer Shlomo and DJ Nonames. They are a powerhouse and are not to be trifled with. Foreign Beggars have been featured here at Crossfaded Music before with their collaboration with Flux Pavillion and SKisM titled Jump Back. The talented British hip-hop/grime/dubstep group based in London have brought us one of the most infectious beats in 2012 with the release of their forthcoming album “The Uprising” and their new single ‘Palm Of My Hand’. With an array of electronic and equally minimalistic percussive instrumentation, the Kid Kanevil produced track delivers a complete domination of rhythm.

Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino is an amazing lyricist. Not only that, but he tends to DJ his own tracks. Needless to say he is a multifaceted individual. Also, he has been featured here on Crossfaded plenty of times, most recently on our Welcome Back post. Off his newest mixtape “Camp” he drops Heartbeat and this song has such a soft intro that drops into heavy electro segments that make this song a juggernaut. He incorporates fast paced rapping over a sick melody. It is amazing how he can convey such great arrogance over his tracks. I find it to be such an interesting take on the rap genre. Also, the video is sick as hell and is worth a view.
Next up is the Proper Villains remix of Heartbeat brings forth a gnarly dubstep remix and it hits hard. It is a good mix of hard melodic dubstep and constant wobbles. This song can be enjoyed both driving around and at a dance party. With that sort of versatility it is obvious that Proper Villains has been refining his view on how dubstep should be produced. Last but certainly not least is the remix done by The Golden Pony. A relatively unknown artist who has some amazing potential. With his version of Heartbeat he gives the song a complete makeover and makes it into a great dance/pop song that will make any crowd go wild. It is fast paced happy-go-lucky take on this song. It has very fun synths and nice transitions that will keep you guessing. The Golden Pony delivers big time with this remix, so, give him some love on his Facebook and Soundcloud.
