Paul Oakenfold ft. J Hart – Surrender (Protoculture Remix) + Will Holland ft. Jeza – Every Heartbeat (Beat Service Remix) / New Trance

I. Love. Trance. Pretty simple I guess.  Never have I been more excited for a show that for Saturday of Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks. So today I will provide two new Trance tracks to get your high spirits flowing.  The first being a remix by Protoculture of Paul Oakenfold’s “Surrender.”  Like every good trance song, this one builds slowly yet with a great pulse to it, until at 5:00 when a superb melody and vocals kick in making the wait for the drop absolutely worth every penny.  The South African DJ has been in the Trance scene for quite sometime now and it is clear that his hard work is paying off.  Check his website out for some music and much much more. Buy it on Beatport!

Next I bring you a remix by Beat Service, an Estonian DJ/Producer, of Will Holland’s “Every Heartbeat.”  Beautiful vocals and a perfect melody make a truly enticing track.  Beat Service has been quietly making noise in the trance and progressive world for a few years now and I must say I am very impressed with what Beat Service has to offer.  So get down trance style to this song.

Steptech – Born Ready / New Dubstep/Steptech

I have always loved the statement, “support your local DJ.”  So today I bring another song from the Boulder native, Mat “Steptech” Lee.  “Born Ready” is just an example that Steptech’s game has clearly been improving daily because Born Ready is a hype track sure to get a crowd moving.  Born Ready had a unique beat and sound to it, similar to Knife Party who are known for creating awesome beats and heavy wobbles.  This is a quite a massive song which brings a huge amount of bass into your face and will leave you wanting more and more of the dope ass chorus this song possesses.  I want to call this track a dubstep track, but because of its unique nature, I’m going to call the genre of this song Steptech.  You will be able to see Steptech perform live this Saturday the 16that the Beatport Lounge in Denver at Beta Night Club, be there to support your local DJ!!  I featured Steptech’s song “Go” which also has Dirt Monkey on the track in a previous post here. Keep up the sick work Mr. Lee!!!

Porter Robinson – Language (Jeniuz Remix) / Dirty New Dubstep

For todays post, I bring another sick song from Jeniuz, whom I featured not too long ago with his original track “Nowhere Here.” Damola Abatan, or Jeniuz, has started making some noise with his remix of Porter Robinson‘s “Language” which was also featured on thissongslaps.com and several other blog sites.  Now let me move into saying that this remix perfectly blends what Porter has originally offered and Jeniuz’s unique sound into one firecracker of a song.  The main chorus reminds me a bit of Kill the Noise and the beginning has a slight air of Skrillex to it, but Jeniuz never looses sight of the “Language” original mix, which is already a great song on its own.  If Jenuiz keeps on the track that he is going, which is but one direction and that is up, then we shall see his name up there with the likes of Porter Robinson or Kill the Noise.  This is some truly nasty dubstep which will leave your speakers exhausted but ready for some more Jeniuz.  Keep up the sick beats D!

Mako – Beam (Original Mix) / Huge Progressive House

Well everyone, my cast is finally off so I can start giving you better write ups and more music weekly.  Sorry for my absence in bringing all of your happy faces the greatest gift man has ever created, music, and I promise to bring more and more music in these coming days, weeks, and months.  So today I bring you but one song and boy is it a fire cracker.  In todays world, simplicity in design and in taste can be the key to success, for example Avicii has risen to success on some really catchy, simple, yet massive songs that have melted peoples faces and hearts around the world.  It is my pleasure to introduce two Los-Angeles based producers who have been quietly playing around the country and opening for the likes of Wolfgang Gartner and Afrojack.  Mako, also known as Logan Light and Alex Seaver, are a two man team who are abundant in musical talent and practiced in their trade. Their track “Beam” is perfect example of the massive sound they are capable of producing, not to mention the uplifting melody, and a chorus just meant for building up a massive crowd.  It starts of quiet with a great keyboard line and some orchestral synths which gives a nice floating feeling, and from here the song builds and builds nice and slow, very happily might I add, until 1.50 when the main chorus starts and brings the song to a whole new level.  Once here the songs never looks back and continues into a beautifully composed track.  I look forward to see what the future holds for Mako.  As always, enjoy responsibly.
