You may remember Tulisa from a previous post or if your a fan of N-dubz, the leading lady has struck off on her own and is making a stir in the Uk charts. Her latest single entitled “Young” is energetic and poppy while keeping a distinctive electric sound and clean punching vocals that made her famous to begin with. Enjoy this one as it may be quite hard to find in the US.

I had to piggie back my last post so here is a new song by StepTech and Dirt Monkey, both local Boulder DJs, called “Go,” this is some extra filth for you and be warned, you might have to take a shower afterwords because its so dirty. It starts out nice and slow, like any good dubstep song, once it builds and you hear “GO,” you know you are in for some heavy shit. StepTech is gaining popularity quickly because this song is off Dirt Monkey’s new EP In The Place which is electric! We also featured StepTech not to long ago here. Gotta rep the Boulder hometown love, keep up the sick tunes Steptech! Make sure you buy it on Beatport and get it on the top 25!!
I have been posting a lot of indie and progressive house shit lately so I figured it’s time to get the WHOMP out, and why not do it with Dirt Monkey & Doctor P? This isn’t exactly the heaviest of songs but the bass still hits plenty hard. It blends just a perfect amount of woobles, lyrics, and drums to construct a track worthy of being dropped everywhere. Jenna G’s vocals are just perfect in this remix, and Doctor P’s original for that matter, which I will give to you as well just because I’m nice like that. So hear you go my friends, I hope you are all staying healthy, unlike myself.

I just had to post this song not because LCD Sounsystem knows how to make some dope music, but it has been put too probably one of the coolest skiing scenes known to man. The songs slow progression leads into a great beat and is perfect for this ski scene. I bet the people in this town where just like, “who the fuck is skiing in my front lawn?” I’ll shut up and let the video do the talking.
Okay since that last song was rather old, I must follow it up with a really new song, so here you go. It’s called “Forever” by Till Death, and there isn’t a whole lot to this song but I must say it has an awesome melody and is a fantastic track overall. The guitar riff in the beginning is consistent throughout the song but that settles well with me and the song builds in the slightest of ways and keeps this a nice chill song.
I have been in a happy mood as of late so I guess I will post some progressive house for your schmeckles. The first being “We Are Here To Make Some Noise” by the one and only Armin Van Buuren. He played a song similar to this in his Ultra set and he finally mastered it and put it out for everyone earlier in May. This has typical massiveness like all of Armins songs do, and is overall just a wonderful song. The main synth line is very catchy and dance worthy, again, much like all of his songs. There isn’t much else to say about this song because Armin does all of the talking with his beats.

The next song is an energetic remix of Danny Saucedo’s “Amazing” by the Finnish group Maison & Dragen. This is a poppy track with an extremely catchy chorus and a definite dance feel to it giving it mass appeal. Maison & Dragen are climbing to fame rather quickly and their is no surprise there, their original “Rio De Janeiro” and remix of Martin Solveig’s “Night Out” have made it on the top 25 of the charts on Beatport. So look out for these Finns to take over the Swedish music scene before you know it.
