A-Trak & Dillon Francis – Money Makin : Indie Dance / Nu Disco

So it’s like this, Dillon Francis is the man, and A-Trak is the shit, so any song made by these two is the man/shit.  Seems kind of odd when put it that way but nevertheless “Money Makin” is pure fire and is a fucking dope ass song.  These two DJ’s have an absurd sense of humor, and they star in the video to this song as two repairmen who turn an ATM into a party machine that takes any city by storm, as Mr. Francis would like it.  This is a fun bouncy track that literally anybody can enjoy, I mean if it makes boobies bounce then you will probably like it.

Check out Dillon’s and A-Trak’s soundcloud out!

Feed Me – Relocation & Strange Behaviour ft. Tasha Baxter: Progressive: Dubstep

Feed Me ranks as one of my all time favorite dubstep creators. The first track I bring you shows how talented he is with the dub art. Strange Behavior is tied together with the unique vocals of Tasha Baxter heightening that tingly feeling from the dub drops to the melodic development of her voice. The second track come off of his latest EP Escape From Electric Mountain Which, under the influence of mau5trap productions, takes his sound in a completely new direction. Again he proves himself as a god when it comes to dubstep on this EP with the track Whiskers developed along with Gemini which was featured earlier here at Crossfaded Music. Relocation is a side of Feed Me just emerging and I personally love the trance feel to it. He also works with the likes of Hadouken! and Lindsay among the 6 original mix tracks on this EP. Check it out in its entirety on beatport! Show em some love on Facebook!

P.S. I love the album artwork for this EP!

Broken Bells – October: Alternative

These guys are just getting started with their debut album Broken Bells released in 2010. But by getting started I mean producing together! This duo is made up of James Mercer of the Shins and Danger Mouse who is ½ of Gnarls Barkley and has produced with names like the Gorillaz, the Black Keys, and Beck. These two proven artists combined create a unique sound that is very refreshing and new in a world of remixes and spinoffs that we so often see popping up today. Following their debut album they released an EP Meyrin Fields so check em both out on iTunes!

Boyfriend (Dada Life Remix) – Justin Bieber + Express Yourself -Labrinth: House/Electro/ Grime/ Hip Hop

OK dont freak out, were still crossfaded and Justin Bieber is still a horrible excuse for an artist and male. However his new single may have potential… after it has been chewed up by Dada Life digested and creatively shat out into an amazing remix. Don’t think its possible? Well it is.

Labrinth has been steadily growing in success and his last album features “express yourself” a song that uses familiar samples and has a sound not often associated with UK Rap.

Wideboys – The Word + (Koncept Remix) : Electronic / Drum & Bass

Wideboys have exclusively released the music video for their new song “The Word” to few people so I figured why not let you guys see it as well.  They consist of Eddie Craig & Jim Sullivan who hail from the UK and have been DJing for quite sometime now.  This track has a sound to it that reminds me of Daft Punk, and when a song reminds you of Daft Punk then you know it is something special.  This is an amazingly composed song, it has a great pulsing dance feel to it with fantastic guitar riffs to it that give this song mass appeal.  I expect the Wideboys to become massive after this song.  You heard it first right here on Crossfaded Music!  And don’t freak out, don’t freak out I say, but I have the download for this song and it hasn’t been released yet.  Check their Soundcloud out for more tunes.

There are plenty of remixes of this song already which is more fuel to my argument of how big this song is going to be. I went through them all and chose my favorite which is a sick drum and bass remix by Koncept.  Just listen a let the music take you away.
