I was a little worried about this mashup when it started going, but once Marvin came in, I was sold. This mashup has fantastic cuts and and bumpin’ beats that will make you cream your pants. TMI? I think not.

Though this mashup doesn’t have much complication and is pretty straight forward when it comes to editing, I am still extremely impressed to see that the chorus of both songs are so well laid together. It really does sound like the song was made in a studio. Very impressive.

This mashup isn’t meant to get you movin’ on the dance floor, if anything it should only get you to start bobbing your head. The greatest bit of this entire mashup has to be the guitar “singing” to us through out the song. It’s surreal in a way.

This is the first, bangin’ single from DJ Epic’s debut mashup album coming in the fall of this year. I am so excited to drop this on you all, it’s definitely one of my favorite mashups of the year, the two songs mesh effortlessly and I can’t wait to hear more. Nero X Katy Perry, fucks yeah.

Mike Posner brings forth a bold cover piece, taking on Coldplay’s intriguing “The Scientist.” While the direction taken for the singing part might be a matter of taste, Posner’s production on this rendition is nothing less than excellent. Coldplay spiced up with electronic and dubstep elements.

Diplo recently came out with this mash using Swedish House Mafia‘s One as the bass and using vocals from Nicki Minaj‘s Did It On Em, and Sleigh Bells‘ Beach Girls. An incredible mix of the three will surely blow your mind. It leaves you wondering where Diplo is going to go next. Wild.

This track is straight from one of Germany’s finest Mashup artists. Marc Johnce has been on the music scene since 2008 when he emerged on the Bootie Mash up mixtape in 2008 with his Mashup entitled “Hot n’ Cold Maniac.” Now in 2011 he is still coming out with sick blends of the best songs out right now.

An interesting perspective on a Ice Cube song, I rather enjoy it. Soft and uplifting, nice chill sesh song. Check it.

Yeah, cool, whatever. His songs have such a distinct energy that makes him a unique mashup artist.

Lastly is another Brenton Duvall masher of Semisonic’s song “Closing Time” and Biggie’s “What You Want Nigga.” It is a super chill song with the hard driving lyrics of Biggie. Too sick for it’s own good.

So today I got three sick mashers for your viewing listening pleasure.

First up is a mashup of Dr. Dre and JJ. So what is happening here is JJ did a album of already popular beats, and one her songs was the melody for ‘Still Dre’ and I loved the fuck out of it, but it was lacking something. And that was Dre. So, Hype Jones did me the pleasure of mashing them together to make a bomb ass track. It’s got that timeless gangsta feel with a soft aerial voice of JJ for the chorus. It is super chill and I love the fuck out of it.

Next up is another Kaskade masher, and it is a hard banging house anthem, with soft [once again] aerial sort of voice to accompany the hard driving house. This is a song that a die hard and a inexperienced house people will fall head over heels in love for this one. Take a look.

Last is a masher from one of my favorite artists: Xaphoon Jones. His productions are always quality and he came out with a mixtape recently [yes I’ll give you a download for it] and it just shows how he is becoming a force to be reckoned with. And this song is no exception, it is ‘Sleepyhead’ by Passion Pit mashed with the melody of ‘I Want You Back’ by Jackson 5. It is a upbeat and happy masher and I have been listening to it WAY too much lately. See for yourself.
