To start your weekend off the crossfaded way, I bring you two massive tracks from Wolfgang Gartner and Hardwell. Wolfgang has been on top of the progressive house scene for quite some time now and with his new track Red Line, I don’t see him slowing down anytime soon. The second song I have for your schmeckles is Hardwell and Dannic’s – Kontiki. This song is quite epic really.  It has a big sounds that reminds me of the music from tomorrowland.  It builds perfectly and once the chorus drops you will find yourself jumping out of control.  So get your house face on for this one because you will enjoy.

Atlanta native Usher‘s new single is a smooth-as-butter tribute to all things at their peak. Philadelphia beat master Diplo and LA remixer Kaskade took Usher’s crooning to another level with this one. The guys dubbed StereoHeroes are best described as French dance floor ass kickers, and their not shy to admit it. If your stateside and haven’t heard of them don’t worry your not alone but if you think thats a reason to discredit them, you are seriously wrong! The dynamic duo’s recently release The Order Mixtape is a follow up to last years release of The Conspiracy Mixtape which was nothing short of a success. The order begins with face melting heavy tracks that should make you feel like Jason Statham in Crank, but their mix is not one dimensional as it grows into the more familiar french sound and flows with pumping peaks and harmonic valleys. Perhaps StereoHeroes describe the genre of the mix tape best as “Super-Comic-Electro-Crunk”.

Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino is an amazing lyricist. Not only that, but he tends to DJ his own tracks. Needless to say he is a multifaceted individual. Also, he has been featured here on Crossfaded plenty of times, most recently on our Welcome Back post. Off his newest mixtape “Camp” he drops Heartbeat and this song has such a soft intro that drops into heavy electro segments that make this song a juggernaut. He incorporates fast paced rapping over a sick melody. It is amazing how he can convey such great arrogance over his tracks. I find it to be such an interesting take on the rap genre. Also, the video is sick as hell and is worth a view.

Next up is the Proper Villains remix of Heartbeat brings forth a gnarly dubstep remix and it hits hard. It is a good mix of hard melodic dubstep and constant wobbles. This song can be enjoyed both driving around and at a dance party. With that sort of versatility it is obvious that Proper Villains has been refining his view on how dubstep should be produced. It is working because this song bangs. Proper Villains has amazing star quality so be sure to check out his Facebook and Soundcloud. Now listen.

Last but certainly not least is the remix done by The Golden Pony. A relatively unknown artist who has some amazing potential. With his version of Heartbeat he gives the song a complete makeover and makes it into a great dance/pop song that will make any crowd go wild. It is fast paced happy-go-lucky take on this song. It has very fun synths and nice transitions that will keep you guessing. The Golden Pony delivers big time with this remix, so, give him some love on his Facebook and Soundcloud.
