Robotic Pirate Monkey blows my mind again with the track Hellevator. Being no stranger to crossfaded Robotic pirate Monkey’s little gem should not go unnoticed. Blending and mixing heavy bass with some electronic dubstep creates such an epic banger. With a very fast paced complexity this song is so great despite the fact it is just under three minutes. Fantastic work, and I cannot wait for more.

Today I bring you some of dubstep which falls on the extra dirty/heavy of the spectrum. The first being a rather new song by Datsik that should become excessively popular soon. Earlier in the year Kaskade and Skrillex collaborated on a unique song called “Lick It” for Kaskades Fire and Ice album. The original is has a driving feel to it that can keep a party crackin’ but Datsik’s version takes an EPIC left turn once it drops and I’ll be honest took me by surprise. I want to hear this song live when Datsik comes with Flux and Dcotor P to Red Rocks this summer because this song will get a massive roar. So please enjoy responsibly.

And for the second song I bring you Gemini’s original “Elavate.” My friend form England played this song for me one night at a house party and at this point I didn’t want to hear another dubstep song. But he promised me a huge song if I let it reach the drop and when it did, I literally started crying tears of joy. I have nothing else to say about this song because it is so good. His name is Ralf. He is 19 and lives in Atlanta. He goes by Popeska. What he does: makes music of the face melting quality. He does this by mixing sick glitch, with bass heavy dubstep, absurdly ironic lyrics, just a splash of moombahton and if that wasn’t enough, he brings in a touch of drum and bass. This seems like a lot to put into one song, but he does it so well and mixes all these genres with the talent of a professional. Some might call this a bit of a “cluster fuck” and that is about the only correct way to define it. Do not go wrong, this song is strong. Play it loud.
