First up is another Cheyenne Giles remix. It’s got sick lyrics and a very up and down sort of beat, with what I call “tasteful dubstep.” Also, I posted his remix of Kid Cudi’s song ‘Marijuana’ a while back you should check that out, and while you’re at it check this shit out.

Next up is Crush Crush Crush done by Paramore. Not going to lie I am quite the sucker for anything Paramore/Haley (from Paramore) and this song is off the chain. (Do people still say that?) It has a pretty apparent dubstep feel throughout and it is bomb to say the least. And of course the lyrics are friggin’ sweet. And I’ve never heard of this remixer prior to this so don’t get all excited to see some seasoned dubstepper.

So I am all about tasteful dubstep and sorting through all these songs there is always one heavy dubstep song that I fall in love with, but I seldom post that shit. However, today is different. I have had this song for a long time and it has racked up a ton of plays on my iTunes. It is done by Zeds Dead and they have some sick shit. (Ain’t that sweet?) So prepare to eargasm all over the place.

A real treat today. I’ve got a song that I have been holding on to for a while now waiting for the opportune time to post it. I haven’t found that moment yet so, I will just settle with posting it today. It is the pinnacle of tasteful dubstep. (Sorry skrillex fans, but that ain’t quality dubstep.) Anyways, it is the artist Ashes accompanied by the vocals of Marvin Gaye’s song ‘Grapevine.’ It has a good minute long build up, but it is well worth it in my opinion. Perfect party song. What are you waiting for? Go.

Much like the Stephan Jacobs remix I posted two weeks ago ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ has that dark sort of dubstep feel. I think a lot of that menacing sound comes from the guys rapping over the track. I don’t know what I am talking about (ever) so you be the judge of this track.

Lastly, is a N.E.R.D song called ‘Hypnotize U’ and the lyrics are there, but it is mostly about the sick beat under it. Nero always delivers a sick track, and this is no exception. It is actually fairly thick dubstep, but again it is done with respect. The drop comes around 1:20 in and man does it drop. Hit that shit.

Next up is a remix done by Oh Snap!! and they have a unique style. They remix it with what I consider tasteful dubstep that is integrated into the music. Also, they add some of their own lyrics to the track, not much of a contribution, but enough that it adds some flavor to the song it is F U C K I N G sweet.
