Lastly is another Brenton Duvall masher of Semisonic’s song “Closing Time” and Biggie’s “What You Want Nigga.” It is a super chill song with the hard driving lyrics of Biggie. Too sick for it’s own good.

Well hello my fellow bassheads, I am going to provide you with some serious eargasms this week. That being said, let’s get this shit show on the road. First up is a Zeds Dead production and it lives up to the already high standards of their dubstep. The thick wobble that they bring to the table mixed with the female vocals and eerie melody, just works. Definitely a song to put on repeat. Check it out player.

I can’t help but smile when I listen to this track. It’s not that this remix made it a happy-go-lucky track… in fact it’s far from. I smile because the work Love and Light did to Can’t Stop is just so good and creative. The creepy church hymn in the background darkens the track a little, the pinch of glitch makes the song tweak a little bit, while the hint of dub and wobble make it suitable for any playlist. Love and Light is making a name for themselves as sick dubstep and their soundcloud description “Comprised of the musical talents of Matt Madonna and Ryan Anderson, Love and Light hails from the high desert region of the Reno/Tahoe Basin. Hailing from Vancouver, Canada – DJ/Producer Hirshee got some vocals from Tonye Aganaba on this track and proceeded to create what I like to call.. a “bass-a-saurus rex.” With a pretty immense drop, which all my dubstep fans will be go ape shit over. So if you recall, I posted the song ‘Everyday’ a while a go, and I was not aware there would be a full fledged mixtape to come from it. So, what we have here is the original ‘Everyday’ track accompanied by 3 remixes of the same song, as well as a bonus track called ‘Lick the Lizard.’ The remixes all bring a different set of fire to this trance/house/dubsteb anthem, then the track ‘Lick the Lizard’ is a hard pounding dubstep with very deliberate whomps. Here is a mashup of Edward Sharpe and T.I. and it has such contradicting qualities, but it is too good for me to explain! I have listened to it far to many times to mention and it is because the song has a totally different feel than conventional rap songs. You’ll be pleasantly surprised how sick this song is. Hit that shit son.

First up is originally a Muse song called ‘Knights of Cydonia’ and at first it looks like a mild dubstep remix, but DJ Parker adds in a sprinkle of Beastie Boys to give it a little more depth. All in all this is a hard banging mashup. With most of ‘Knights of Cydonia’ still intact, but there is still a pretty heavy dubstep over it. Blast this until your ears are ringing.
