Nicki Minaj

Yup, she gets her own post. I can’t quite explain why her sound is so appealing to me. Maybe the sexy voice, or possibly the sick beats, or just the fact that she is a really catchy artist. I don’t know, but she is quite amazing. So the first song is “Letting Go” originally done by Sean Kingston. Luckily Sean Kingston does not contribute anything to this remix. Cue sigh of relief. Anyways, the beat is super catchy and it compliments Nicki’s vocals too well. By the way there is a lot of bass to the song so crank dat shit son. (Don’t worry I will never repeat that phrase ever again.)

Next up is another jaunty tune by Nicki, and it has a lot of shit going on that can keep me captivated. Another plus is the fact that the song is produced by JR and he always contributes to amazing songs. Not much more to say, check it out.

She has a new album out, buy that shit. Stay up.

This post is dedicated to my good friend Saad, because I know how much you love Nicki.

Back in action

So I’ve been MIA for quite some time, but I’m back. So let’s get this dog and pony show on the road. First off is a song by Riot !n Paris and it is a cover of the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s song “Under the Bridge.” Totally new perspective of an old classic. For me it has been on repeat for quite some time and I can’t seem to get sick of this song. So check it.

Jay-Z and Marvin Gaye – Hello Brooklyn (feat. Lil Wayne)

To keep the theme of Brooklyn going I have a real treat from Jay-Z. I’m not the biggest fan of Jay-Z and his style, but this song is featuring Lil’ Wayne and Marvin Gaye and it adds just the right amount of flare to keep me interested. Hope you guys like it as much as I do.
